Tag trade

When participating in tag trade, people include tags, little snippets of standardized code, in messages related to trade (of services and possible also of goods). Ideally such messages are publicly available so that they can easily be found by search engines. The encoded information can be extracted and fed into databases. Information includes service requests (tasks), payment offers, and rating of trade partners.
